This is another popular license to get. It allows you to eliminate all the restrictions of the VFR PPL regarding the time of the day, the weather and the route. IFR Stands for Instrument Rating License, and it's fundamental if you want to fly a plane in any condition. Most of the Pilots that take the license only for leisure do not go to IFR, but it can be a nice license to have also in terms of safety of the flight. The only restrictions that still apply are :

• Maximum 4 passengers
• Only single engine propeller planes
• You cannot earn money from piloting

IFR course is divided in two parts, the first one in HK and the second part in the Philippines. Total Time around 8/10 weeks average and a cost of 83,000 HKD.
